Greg Skomal is a program manager and the principal investigator of two major MA Marine Fisheries research projects: the Massachusetts Shark Research Program and the Massachusetts Sport Fishing Tournament Monitoring Program. Through these programs, he has been studying the biology, ecology, and local populations of sharks, tunas, and marlins for over 27 years. He has been collecting catch and effort data at the Falmouth Grand Prix since its inception.
